London, United Kingdom, October 2025 – Alternative Energy Company (AEC) has announced the appointment of Aishwarya Singh as Associate – Private Equity & Mergers & Acquisitions, strengthening its investment advisory and transaction execution capabilities in the global energy transition space.
Aishwarya is a seasoned corporate lawyer with over five years of experience advising private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and corporates on cross-border and domestic M&A and PE transactions. Known for her blend of technical precision and commercial insight, she brings expertise that bridges legal acumen and strategic finance, enabling AEC to deliver sharper transaction outcomes and bankable advisory solutions for clients across the clean energy ecosystem.
At AEC, Aishwarya will focus on investment structuring, transaction execution, and strategic advisory for renewable energy and decarbonization projects, supporting developers, investors, and corporates in their financing journeys.
Before joining AEC, Aishwarya Singh worked as an Independent Legal Consultant, advising clients on corporate, financial services, and private equity mandates. Her work involved drafting commercial contracts, providing regulatory advisory under Indian corporate and financial laws, and collaborating with legal chambers on select corporate matters.
Previously, she served as an Associate at Khaitan & Co, where she advised on several high-value transactions, including Kedaara Capital’s INR 800 crore investment in Avanse Financial Services and Mahindra Group’s strategic acquisition initiatives. Her expertise extended to regulatory filings with RBI, SEBI, and IRDAI, and advisory support to financial institutions and corporates.
Before Khaitan & Co, Aishwarya worked with Trilegal, where she was part of the team advising Prosus Ventures on its landmark USD 4.7 billion acquisition of BillDesk, one of India’s largest fintech M&A deals. She also provided counsel on regulatory and compliance frameworks for financial services and fintech clients.
Earlier, she honed her skills at AZB & Partners, where she advised marquee clients including Brookfield, PAG Capital, and Franklin Templeton on complex investments and regulatory matters, and at J. Sagar Associates, where she worked on acquisitions, insolvency, and corporate restructuring assignments.
Aishwarya holds an LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from Queen Mary University of London and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Jindal Global Law School, equipping her with a strong academic foundation in international corporate law and transaction structuring.
