Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2024 – Ajay Gopalakrishnan has been named Head – Human Resources at Plum, a leading premium beauty brand in India. In this role, Ajay will spearhead HR strategies, build a robust people function, and strengthen Plum’s commitment to a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture.
Ajay joins Plum with extensive experience in human resource leadership. He most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Foxtale, where he successfully established the company’s HR function and drove strategic initiatives to align with organizational goals. Before that, he contributed to L’Oréal as Country Project Manager (India) – Consulting, focusing on HR transformation and change management.
Ajay previously held multiple roles at Plum during his first tenure with the organization, including Head/Lead – HR and Consultant/Advisor, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the team, enhancing workplace culture, and achieving key certifications like Great Place to Work. Earlier in his career, Ajay held leadership roles at TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks Pvt. Ltd., JSW, and Shell, where he demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
