Delhi NCR, India, April 2025 – Ajay Prasad has joined Howden as Senior Vice President – Business Development, bringing with him a diverse and accomplished career spanning over two decades across business development, corporate strategy, and human capital leadership in the insurance and financial services sector. In his new role, Ajay will focus on spearheading strategic growth initiatives, fostering client relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence in the region.
Prior to joining Howden, Ajay served as Vice President – Business Development at Aon, where he played a pivotal role in driving new client acquisition and strengthening the firm’s presence in the insurance consulting ecosystem over a year-long tenure.
Before Aon, he held the position of Chief People & Strategy Officer at Ace Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. for more than two years, where he successfully aligned people strategy with business growth, overseeing both HR and strategic functions during a transformative phase for the organization.

Earlier, Ajay was Vice President – People Strategy & Corporate Relations at Good Health Insurance TPA, where he focused on building internal talent capabilities and corporate stakeholder engagement. His HR leadership journey includes notable roles at UNISON Insurance Broking Services Pvt Ltd, Prudent Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd, and The Hi-Tech Gears Ltd., where he contributed significantly to organizational development and cultural transformation.
Beyond his corporate roles, Ajay is actively involved with key national bodies. He currently serves as a Member of the HR & IR Panel, Delhi State Council at Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), National Strategic Group Member at National HRD Network, and is also Governor’s Nominee to the Skill Council of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Haryana. His strong network and industry contributions underscore his influence in shaping HR and business development discourse in India.
