Bringing more than 20 years of experience in marketing, digital transformation, e-commerce, customer acquisition, and growth strategy, Ajinkya will lead Optimum’s marketing organization, driving brand growth, customer engagement, and go-to-market innovation across the company’s internet, mobile, TV, and telecommunications portfolio.
Prior to joining Optimum, Ajinkya Joglekar served as Senior Vice President, Marketing, Video Services (Dish Network & Sling TV) at EchoStar Corporation, where he led marketing strategy, media, e-commerce, analytics, and customer lifecycle initiatives for businesses generating approximately US$10 billion in annual revenue while managing a US$250 million marketing budget. Leading a cross-functional team of more than 60 professionals, he successfully reduced customer acquisition costs by 40%, increased marketing ROI by 30%, optimized subscriber acquisition, and advanced data-driven marketing capabilities across the organization.
Earlier, Ajinkya served as Senior Vice President, Marketing at Sling TV, where he rebuilt and led a high-performing marketing organization while driving integrated campaigns that strengthened subscriber growth and customer retention. Before that, he spent more than six years at Comcast, progressing through senior leadership roles including Vice President, eCommerce, Executive Director, eCommerce, Senior Director, eCommerce, and Director, Digital Marketing. During his tenure, he transformed Xfinity’s digital sales capabilities, established e-commerce as the company’s leading customer acquisition channel, doubled point-of-sale revenue to US$400 million, launched innovative go-to-market initiatives, and delivered record customer acquisition growth through digital marketing and merchandising strategies.
Prior to Comcast, Ajinkya spent nearly five years at JPMorgan Chase, where he led digital innovation and product marketing initiatives, contributing to the development of customer-facing digital platforms including Ultimate Rewards, Freedom Mobile, and Chase Pay. Earlier in his career, he held marketing and business development positions with Managing Editor Inc., completed an MBA internship with Google, and worked as a marketing consultant for DMusic, LLC. Alongside his corporate leadership roles, he is also the Founder of Growth Stack Commerce and Founder & Host of The Art of Commerce Podcast, where he advises organizations on go-to-market strategy, digital marketing, e-commerce, and MarTech while sharing insights from industry leaders.
