Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 – Akanksha Balsavar has been promoted to the role of Director – Human Resources at Algonomy, marking a significant milestone in her leadership journey within the global algorithmic customer engagement company. In her expanded role, she will lead strategic HR initiatives focused on talent development, learning, culture, and organizational effectiveness as Algonomy continues its rapid global expansion.
Prior to her promotion, Akanksha Balsavar served as Senior Human Resources Manager at Algonomy for nearly three years, where she played a key role in strengthening people processes, workforce planning, leadership development, and performance management frameworks.
She earlier contributed as Learning and Development Specialist at Algonomy, designing capability-building initiatives and leadership programs aligned with business growth priorities.
Before joining Algonomy, Akanksha built strong talent acquisition and HR operations expertise at antuit.ai and WOLVES by upGrad, managing recruitment strategies and workforce scaling for fast-growing technology and learning platforms.
She began her HR and behavioral science career at Thomas Assessments Pvt Ltd (a CIEL HR Group company), where she spent close to four years progressing through roles in assessment practices, research, and behavioral analytics. Earlier, she also served as Human Resources Manager at Byram Holdings, contributing to core HR operations and employee relations.
Akanksha holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Mount Carmel College, India, bringing strong behavioral science grounding to her people leadership approach.
