Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, August 2025 – Akhila Chandrashekar has been appointed as Chief Learning Officer at HOCK International. In this role, she will spearhead the global Learning & Development strategy for finance and accounting certification programs (CMA, CIA, EA, etc.) as well as non-exam professional learning tracks. She will also lead innovation in AI-powered academic workflows, content development, delivery models, and learner engagement to strengthen HOCK’s position as a leading provider of professional certification exam preparation worldwide.
Most recently, Akhila Chandrashekar served as Chief Learning Officer at Miles Education, where she directed academic innovation and international certification initiatives. She also held senior leadership positions including SVP – CPA & EA (US) Academics, Student Success & Placements, VP – CPA (India & US), EA Academics, and AVP – CPA, CFA, FRM Academics & Student Success, where she developed integrated learning ecosystems, expanded university alliances, and enhanced student placement programs.
Before transitioning to education leadership, she built her expertise in international taxation and finance. At PKF Sridhar & Santhanam LLP, she managed international tax and transfer pricing engagements, while earlier roles at Transworld Group of Companies and EY sharpened her skills in taxation, audit, and financial analysis. She also held leadership roles in custody operations and hedge fund accounting at BNP Paribas Market Securities Services and RR Donnelley (Citigroup), and began her career as a Business Process Analyst at Hewlett-Packard.
