Evangelidis has been a key architect behind the brand’s global reputation and his new role underscores the strategic importance of the Indian market to Nothing’s business operations. Under his stewardship, Nothing is set to solidify its stance in the Indian smartphone market, a significant contributor to the company’s rapid expansion. Akis Evangelidis began his career deeply entrenched in the tech world, initially gaining significant exposure as a Global Campaign Manager at Sony Mobile Communications. After a year, he transitioned to Sony Electronics in Europe, where he managed digital imaging accessories and lenses. His tenure at Sony was marked by a notable 85% year-on-year growth in his product line, amidst a generally declining market.

Evangelidis’s journey continued at OnePlus, where he first took the role of Marketing Manager in France, eventually rising to Head of Communications for Europe. His leadership spanned nearly five years, during which he was instrumental in several major acquisitions and expanded OnePlus’s footprint across various international markets, including China, India, and the UAE.

Before stepping into his current role, Evangelidis co-founded Nothing in London, taking on the mantle of Co-Founder and Marketing lead. His profound impact on the company’s marketing strategy helped carve its niche in the competitive tech industry.

About Nothing:
Nothing, headquartered in the UK, aims to disrupt the tech industry with more engaging and inspiring products. Supported by notable investors such as GV (formerly Google Ventures) and C Ventures, Nothing is driven to make technology enjoyable again and to engage the community in its innovative journey.
