Celebration, Florida, United States, February 2026 — Amanda Maggard has started a new position as Chief People Officer, Multi-State Division at AdventHealth, marking a significant transition from executive hospital leadership into enterprise-wide people leadership. In this role, she will lead talent, culture, leadership capability, and workforce strategy across AdventHealth’s Multi-State Division—supporting one of the largest mission-driven healthcare networks in the United States.
In February 2026, Amanda Maggard stepped into her new role as Chief People Officer, Multi-State Division at AdventHealth, bringing with her a long-standing leadership journey of nearly two decades within the AdventHealth system.
Immediately prior to her CPO appointment, Amanda served as President & CEO at AdventHealth Celebration for nearly three years, based in Celebration, Florida. In this role, she led hospital strategy, operations, clinical performance priorities, and organizational growth—strengthening care delivery and community impact.
Before that, she spent close to six years as President & CEO of AdventHealth Zephyrhills & AdventHealth Dade City, where she led multi-site hospital operations, overseeing performance excellence, patient experience, and community-centered healthcare delivery.
Earlier, Amanda served for about four years as Vice President & Administrator, AdventHealth Winter Garden, driving operational strategy and strengthening hospital execution across key business and care delivery functions.
She also held the role of Chief Operating Officer at AdventHealth Winter Park, where she managed operational leadership priorities and supported organization-wide performance, workforce readiness, and service excellence.
Prior to becoming COO, she served as Director of Operations at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, contributing to operational systems, process improvements, and hospital service delivery effectiveness.
Earlier in her career, Amanda developed strong learning and development foundations as Training Manager & Consultant, and also worked as an Executive Recruiter at The Powell Group LLC, strengthening her exposure to talent acquisition and leadership hiring. She began her AdventHealth journey as a Corporate Trainer, building early expertise in workforce development and capability building.
