With an illustrious career spanning over three decades across the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, Mr. Bhanushali brings a wealth of leadership experience in marketing, business strategy, and organizational transformation.
Before joining Themis Medicare, Mr. Bhanushali served as Co-Founder & Director at Rx Connect (My Rubaroo), where he focused on building strategic healthcare networks and driving patient engagement initiatives through digital innovation. He also contributed as a Strategic Advisor to Robomed Innovations Pvt. Ltd., guiding the company’s efforts in medical technology and innovation-led healthcare solutions.
Previously, he spent over a decade with Abbott, where he played multiple leadership roles, including General Manager – Abbott Diabetes Care, Associate Director – Gastroenterology, and Associate Director – Hepatic Care. During his tenure, he successfully led the launch of FreeStyle Libre Pro, a groundbreaking flash glucose monitoring system, positioning India as the first country globally to launch the product’s HCP version. His achievements included leading business units to record growth, earning multiple global awards such as the Global President’s Award and Divisional Vice President Award for outstanding performance.
Earlier in his career, he spent over 14 years with Johnson & Johnson as General Manager – Oncology, overseeing key franchises across India and the United States, followed by leadership roles at Zydus Cadila and Cipla, where he built strong sales management and marketing foundations.
