Crete, Illinois, United States – October 2024 – Amber Sharp has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Holland, L.P. In her new role, Amber will lead the financial strategy, operations, and planning for Holland, driving the company’s financial growth and ensuring strong fiscal management. She aims to enhance Holland’s financial stability and support its innovative services across the North American rail industry.
Amber brings over two years of experience at Holland, L.P., where she served as Controller before stepping into the CFO role. During her tenure, she managed financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, significantly contributing to the company’s operational efficiency.
Prior to Holland, Amber held a 10-year stint at Clover Technologies Group, where she served as Director of Financial Reporting and Assistant Controller, Global Financial Reporting. Her responsibilities included overseeing consolidated financial statements across 14 currencies and 22 locations, enhancing the financial reporting process, and fostering continuous improvement within the team.
Amber’s career also includes a role as a CPA at Wilcoxson & Associates, Ltd., where she focused on not-for-profit and government auditing, leading her team to adopt paperless systems and maintain quality control standards. Her financial expertise extends further back to roles at Middlesex Lawn & Garden, Inc. as Controller and at Sikich LLP as a Senior Accountant, where she honed her skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and financial management.
