Chicago, Illinois, United States, January 2026 —Fortune Brands Innovations has announced the appointment of Amit Banati as its Chief Executive Officer, effective May 13, 2026.
Amit is a highly experienced commercial and operational leader with deep knowledge of the company’s brands, markets, and strategy. Having previously served on FBIN’s Board, he knows the organization and its teams well and is deeply aligned with its purpose. He is committed to ensuring that Fortune Brands Innovations reaches its full potential alongside its talented leadership team.
Most recently, Amit served as Chief Financial Officer at Kenvue, and previously held the role of Vice Chairman & Chief Financial Officer at Kellanova. He also spent over 14 years at Kellogg Company, including serving as Chief Financial Officer and earlier as President, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, where he led large-scale regional operations and drove strategic growth across diverse markets.
Earlier in his career, Amit held senior leadership roles at Mondelēz International and Cadbury Schweppes PLC, where he served in key regional and finance leadership capacities. He began his professional journey with Procter & Gamble, holding multiple finance leadership roles across Asia, Australia, and India, building a strong foundation in financial strategy and operational excellence.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, where he earned his PGDMA in Finance and Marketing, Amit brings more than three decades of global leadership experience across consumer goods and multinational enterprises.
As CEO, he will lead Fortune Brands Innovations into its next phase of growth, advancing its purpose to elevate every life by transforming spaces into havens and driving innovation across its portfolio of leading home, security, and digital brands.
