Chicago, Illinois, United States, June 2026 — Mondelēz International has announced the appointment of Amit Banati as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Welcoming the appointment, Mondelēz International Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dirk Van de Put highlighted Amit’s extensive global leadership experience, noting that his ability to deliver results, build talent, and lead large multinational businesses will bring valuable perspective to the company’s leadership team as it continues to drive sustainable growth and value creation.

In his new role, Amit will oversee Mondelēz International’s global finance organization, supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy, capital allocation priorities, operational excellence initiatives, and shareholder value creation agenda across its worldwide operations.

Prior to joining Mondelēz International, Amit served as Chief Financial Officer at Kenvue, where he led the global finance organization of one of the world’s largest consumer health companies. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening financial performance, supporting strategic priorities, and helping guide the company through an important phase of its growth journey.

Before Kenvue, Amit served as Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer at Kellanova, and previously as Chief Financial Officer of Kellogg Company. Over more than thirteen years with Kellogg and Kellanova, he held several senior leadership positions, including President, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, where he led one of the company’s most strategically important international regions. His leadership contributed significantly to business expansion, portfolio growth, operational excellence, and talent development across diverse global markets.

Notably, Amit is also returning to an organization with which he shares a strong historical connection. Earlier in his career, he served as President, North Asia and Asia Pacific Strategy at Mondelēz International, where he played a key role in shaping regional growth strategies and strengthening the company’s presence across Asia-Pacific markets.

Before Mondelēz International, Amit spent nearly six years with Cadbury Schweppes, serving as President, Pacific Region and previously as Chief Financial Officer, Asia Pacific. During this period, he gained extensive experience leading regional operations, financial management, commercial strategy, and business transformation initiatives across multiple international markets.

Earlier in his career, Amit spent nearly fourteen years with Procter & Gamble, where he held a series of progressively senior finance leadership roles across India, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. His responsibilities included financial planning, business partnering, regional finance leadership, and commercial strategy across multiple consumer products categories, providing him with a strong foundation in global finance and operational leadership.

Amit holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDMA) in Finance and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow). Throughout his distinguished career, he has built a reputation as a strategic finance leader, business builder, and talent developer capable of driving transformation and growth across highly complex multinational organizations.

With extensive experience spanning finance, general management, emerging markets, strategy, and global consumer goods operations, Amit is expected to play a pivotal role in supporting Mondelēz International’s continued growth and strengthening its position as one of the world’s leading snacking companies.
