Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2025 – Amit Sanwal has taken over the reins as Head – Talent Management and Learning & Development at Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS), India’s leading integrated glass solutions company, widely recognized for its 75% market share in the automotive glass segment. With over 13 years of expertise in driving strategic HR transformations, Amit brings a blend of people-centric leadership and robust talent management experience to this key role at AIS.
In his most recent role at Fareportal, Amit served as Senior Manager – HR Business Partner, where he played a strategic role across India and the United States. He led initiatives to drive talent planning, engagement, and organizational development for over 600 employees across key functions like technology, product, digital marketing, and finance. His ability to coach leaders, manage people risks, and execute data-driven strategies made a significant impact on the business.
Before this, Amit spent over five years at Schneider Electric, where he held progressive roles culminating in Manager – HR. He partnered with large sales and after-sales teams, building leadership capability and launching robust succession planning frameworks. His work contributed to strengthening organizational performance and fostering a high-engagement culture.
Amit’s HR foundation was built at Deloitte, where he served as Senior Analyst – Human Resources. He worked on strategic business partnering, policy development, compliance, and talent strategies across various functions. His early work involved managing end-to-end employee lifecycle and facilitating change management across business units.
