Bangalore, Karnataka, India, May 2025 — Amit Shrivastava has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at R L Fine Chem Pvt. Ltd. (RLFC), marking a new milestone in his distinguished career spanning over two decades in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. Prior to this, he served as President of Marketing at RLFC, where he played an instrumental role in expanding the company’s global outreach and enhancing its marketing strategies.
Amit brings with him a robust background in global marketing, business development, and commercial operations. Before joining RLFC, he held the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Zenfold Sustainable Technologies, where he led commercial strategy and growth initiatives. His leadership and market insights were pivotal in driving the company’s customer-centric approach and revenue expansion.
Previously, Amit served as Vice President and Head of Marketing and Business Development at Smilax Laboratories Limited (Hyderabad), where he oversaw critical marketing strategies and global partnerships. His tenure at SUN PHARMA as Head of Marketing – South America and South Africa saw him transform the business unit into a key profit centre, while at Biocon, he spent over 14 years as Senior Director Marketing and Head – Latin America, managing API, formulations, and technology transfer deals across the region.
Amit’s career began with marketing roles at B K Birla Group of Companies, where he established and grew regional operations. Across his professional journey, he has demonstrated exceptional capabilities in building international businesses, driving market expansion, and developing customer-focused strategies.
In his new role at R L Fine Chem Pvt. Ltd., Amit will spearhead global marketing and business development strategies with a focus on strengthening the company’s market share across psychotropic and CNS product segments. Leveraging his experience, he will also drive innovations in brand building, strategic partnerships, and customer engagement to position RLFC as a global leader in APIs.
