Amol Nagar Steps Up as Executive Director at GE Aerospace

Cincinnati, Ohio, USA – Amol Nagar has been named Executive Director at GE Aerospace, embarking on a new phase in his distinguished 26-year career in the aerospace and automotive industries. This recent appointment, places Nagar at the helm of the company’s manufacturing operations and supply chain across the USA, Europe, and Asia.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Executive Director at GE Aerospace!” announced Nagar, reflecting his enthusiasm for his new role overseeing critical aspects of GE Aerospace’s global infrastructure.

Amol Nagar’s tenure at GE has been marked by progressive leadership roles over the past 7 years and 4 months, each contributing significantly to the company’s operational efficiencies and expansion. Prior to his current role, he served as the Managing Director in Pune, Maharashtra, leading GE’s first multi-modal facility, which managed eight sub-factories under one roof. This facility was pivotal in producing diverse products for segments of GE including Aviation, Renewable Energy, Power, and Transportation.

Before ascending to the role of Executive Director, Nagar managed global sourcing and manufacturing operations from February 2017 to October 2021. His early roles at GE, dating back to March 2014, involved new program development and sourcing across Asia, reflecting his deep roots in supply chain management.

Amol Nagar began his career in the industry with Maruti Suzuki India Limited, where he spent nearly seven years honing his skills in automotive manufacturing and operations, setting the foundation for his future successes in the aerospace sector.
