Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, March 2026 – Amritha Prakash has taken on a new role as Head of E-commerce for Allen Solly at Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited (ABLBL), marking a significant career move within the Aditya Birla Group after a successful seven-year journey with Pantaloons.
In her new role, Amritha will lead the e-commerce strategy for Allen Solly, focusing on accelerating digital growth, strengthening omnichannel capabilities, and enhancing customer experience across online platforms.
Amritha has spent over seven years within the Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail ecosystem, where she held multiple leadership roles at Pantaloons, steadily rising through the ranks and contributing significantly to business growth and transformation.
Most recently, she served as General Manager & Head – Category and Planning (Front End) for Pantaloons South, where she led category strategy and business planning across key markets, driving performance and operational excellence.
Prior to this, she held roles including Group Manager & Category Lead – Women’s Wear and Cluster Business Head for the Chennai region, where she managed P&L for multiple large-format stores, led high-performing teams, and drove revenue growth across the region.
Earlier in her journey, she played a key role in launching and scaling omni-channel initiatives across South India, including alternate channels such as WhatsApp commerce, contributing meaningfully to sales growth and digital adoption across stores.
She began her career as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, before joining the prestigious Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programs, where she gained cross-functional exposure across business strategy, retail, and procurement excellence.
Amritha holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, one of India’s premier management institutions.
