Ana has been serving as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at Lumen Technologies, where she has led the organization’s people strategy and culture transformation efforts. In her expanded role, she will now also drive AI enablement across the enterprise, focusing on equipping employees with the skills, tools, and confidence to leverage AI effectively while ensuring responsible and transparent adoption.
She emphasized that AI transformation is not just about technology but about empowering people—bringing together efficiency and empathy while maintaining strong human oversight. Prior to joining Lumen, Ana served as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at F5, where she led global HR and ESG initiatives, partnering closely with executive leadership to build a high-performance, human-centric culture.
Earlier in her career, Ana spent nearly two decades at Microsoft, where she held multiple senior HR leadership roles including General Manager, Human Resources, leading HR strategy across diverse business units such as marketing, business development, and global consumer businesses.
In addition to her executive roles, Ana has also served as a Board Member at Benefitfocus, contributing to governance and compensation strategy.
