Boulder, Colorado, United States – November 2024 – Angela Barker has stepped into the role of Vice President, People, Talent Management, and Operations at JumpCloud, where she will drive key initiatives to optimize talent acquisition, management, and operational efficiencies. Her strategic expertise will support JumpCloud’s mission to empower IT teams and MSPs with simplified, secure directory platform solutions.
Barker most recently served as Senior Director of People and Talent Management at JumpCloud, where she led strategic programs in talent development, organizational culture, and employee engagement. Her initiatives were instrumental in shaping JumpCloud’s internal culture and streamlining recruitment processes to attract top-tier talent across IT and operational roles.
Prior to her time at JumpCloud, Barker dedicated over a decade to Aspen Technology, where she held various HR leadership roles, including Director of Global Talent Management. In this role, she co-sponsored DE&I initiatives and oversaw global talent development programs, aligning talent management strategies with organizational goals. Her tenure at Aspen also included roles as Director of Human Resources and Senior HR Manager, where she implemented frameworks for HR policies and employee engagement, contributing significantly to the company’s talent growth.
Barker also brings experience from her tenure at Dräger, where she held roles as Human Resources Generalist and HR Representative. She played a key role in supporting the HR function’s operational needs, driving initiatives to improve employee relations, and supporting organizational growth through HR best practices.
