San Diego, California, United States, March 2026 – Angelica Gamble-Wong has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Mission Fed Credit Union, marking a significant leadership milestone in her distinguished HR career.
In her most recent role at Mission Fed Credit Union, Angelica Gamble-Wong served as Senior Vice President, Talent & Culture, where she played a pivotal role in shaping people strategy, strengthening organizational culture, and driving HR transformation initiatives across the organization.
Prior to this, she held leadership roles at Caesars Entertainment, Inc., including Vice President, People, Culture and Experience, where she expanded her scope beyond HR to include retail operations, business process improvement, and guest experience. Her contributions were recognized with the San Diego HR Team of the Year Award.
Earlier, she served as Vice President, Human Resources at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, and spent several years with Rubio’s Restaurants, Inc. as Senior Vice President, People Services, leading human capital strategy for thousands of employees across multiple locations and driving large-scale transformation initiatives.
She began her leadership journey with Virco, where she spent over a decade in progressive HR leadership roles, and earlier with Edison International, where she built foundational expertise in human resources and organizational growth.
In addition to her corporate leadership roles, she has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Instructor at UC San Diego Extension, reflecting her commitment to developing future HR talent.
Angelica Gamble-Wong holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, further strengthening her strategic leadership capabilities.
