Chehalis, Washington, United States, December 2024 – Angie Hodge has been appointed as HR Director at Lewis County, starting her role on January 2, 2025. In her new position, Angie will oversee human resources operations and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the county’s workforce effectiveness and organizational culture.
Angie joins Lewis County following a successful 9-year tenure at the Washington State Office of Administrative Hearings, where she most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, she led the agency’s HR operations, focusing on employee engagement, workforce planning, policy development, and compliance.
Previously, Angie was Human Resources Manager at the same agency, where she drove initiatives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect (DEIR), in addition to handling performance management, labor relations, and leadership development. Her strategic insights significantly improved organizational policies and employee satisfaction.
Angie began her career as an HR Consultant at the Washington State Health Care Authority and later gained experience in HR operations and consulting with the Washington State Patrol. She also served as Payroll Processor at the Office of the Attorney General, providing operational support and consulting on leave and benefits administration.
