Pune, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Propix Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has announced the appointment of Anirudha Katekar as Senior Vice President – Global Business Development. In this strategic leadership role, he will spearhead global business development initiatives, strengthen international partnerships, and drive growth opportunities as Propix continues to expand its footprint in track and trace, machine vision, robotics, optics, and automation solutions.
Anirudha is an accomplished business leader with over 20 years of experience in the capital goods, industrial automation, machine vision, and traceability sectors. Beginning his career as a Service Engineer, he gained extensive hands-on experience with machines, automation systems, and industrial technologies before steadily progressing into senior leadership positions. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for developing business strategies, expanding global markets, building high-performing sales organizations, and delivering sustainable business growth across multiple industries.
Prior to joining Propix Technologies, Anirudha served as Vice President – Sales, APAC & Global Accounts at OPTEL Group, where he was responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region while managing key global accounts. Earlier at OPTEL, he held the positions of Vice President – Sales (Life Sciences, Consumer Packaged Goods & Energy) and Director – Sales, India, leading end-to-end traceability, sustainability, brand protection, authentication, and digital transformation initiatives across industries including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, automotive, mining, and manufacturing.
Before his tenure at OPTEL, Anirudha served as Senior Vice President – Business Development (Strategic Accounts) at Jekson Vision, where he focused on expanding strategic customer relationships and accelerating business growth. He also held the role of General Manager – Sales at Antares Vision, leading the sales of track and trace systems, vision inspection machines, software solutions, and serialization technologies.
His earlier leadership experience includes serving as Senior Manager – Business Development at IMA Hassia India, General Manager – Industrial & OEM at Bizerba India, National Sales Manager at Optel Vision, Market Manager – Product Inspection and Manager – Sales at Mettler Toledo, and Sales Manager at Baumer India, where he built deep expertise in industrial automation, vision inspection, product inspection, OEM solutions, factory operations, product development, and business expansion.
Complementing his extensive industry experience, Anirudha earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from DY Patil University, strengthening his strategic and commercial leadership capabilities.
