Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – Ankit Jain has taken on a new role as Director – Private Credit at Motilal Oswal Alternates, where he will be responsible for expanding the firm’s private credit investment portfolio, strengthening mid-market lending platforms, and driving value-focused private credit strategies across India’s growing alternative investment ecosystem.
In his current role at Motilal Oswal Alternates, Ankit leads private credit investments, structuring financing solutions, managing complex credit portfolios, and supporting long-term capital deployment across mid-market enterprises.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Investment Professional at Capri Xponentia Managers and as Nominee Director at Deepak Fasteners Ltd. (UNBRAKO), where he represented investor interests, oversaw governance matters, and supported portfolio value creation initiatives.
Earlier, Ankit worked with J.C. Flowers Asset Reconstruction, Eight Capital Management, and EY in senior transaction and restructuring roles, leading stressed asset resolution, capital structuring, turnaround advisory, and complex transaction execution.
He began his career at Resurgent India Limited, where he handled private equity syndication, M&A deal origination, and execution, building strong foundations in corporate finance, deal advisory, and investment strategy.
