Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2024 – Ankita Tiwari has joined DTDC Express Limited as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. With a rich background in human resources leadership, talent management, and strategic HR initiatives, Ankita brings extensive expertise to the team, aiming to enhance the company’s HR strategies and support its workforce.
Before joining DTDC Express Limited, Ankita served as the Vice President Human Resources at Pidilite Industries Limited for approximately 2 years and 1 month. She led various HR functions including talent management, DEI, employee engagement, field-force HR, compensation, benefits, and operations. Her leadership steered the function towards greater automation, digitization, agility, and strategic business alignment.
Ankita also worked at BASF for over 9 years in various capacities. As the Head of C&B, India and HRBP – R&D, Legal and Procurement for approximately 8 months, she played a key role in performance improvement and strategic HR leadership. Prior to this, she served as the Head of Compensation & Benefits and Performance Management, South Asia & COE, Asia Pacific for about 3 years, where she revamped compensation structures, facilitated employee experience, and led change management and communication initiatives. She also headed the Learning & Development and Performance Management functions for South Asia for nearly 5 years and 7 months, enabling cultural change and talent management.
Earlier in her career, Ankita held the position of HRBP and L&D Lead at ST-Ericsson for approximately 2 years and 9 months. She was responsible for organization culture building, learning, talent management, and business partnering. She also worked at A.P. Moller – Maersk as an HRBP, TA, TM, L&D-OD (Manager) Human Resources for about 6 years and 9 months, leading talent acquisition, culture integration post-M&A, and employee engagement.
Her early career includes roles at Larsen & Toubro Limited as an HR Trainee / Executive-HR and a summer internship at Castrol.
