Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark, Denmark, January 2025 – Anshu Jayaswal has been appointed as the Chief of Business Systems Operations at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing business system operations, driving strategic planning, and enhancing digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
Anshu has been associated with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency for approximately three years. Before assuming his current role, he served as a Senior Programme Coordinator for nearly three years, contributing to strategic planning, digital transformation, and project management efforts based out of Geneva, Switzerland.

Prior to joining UNHCR, Anshu worked at Tech Mahindra as Delivery Head for about six months in Switzerland, where he focused on IT infrastructure management, business strategy, and cloud computing solutions for global clients.
Before Tech Mahindra, he had a significant tenure of approximately 15 years at Wipro Limited, where he held multiple leadership roles including Cluster Delivery Head – Switzerland, Account Delivery Head & Program Director, and Program Manager. Throughout his time at Wipro, he was responsible for service delivery management, strategic planning, digital transformation, and project governance.
Earlier in his career, Anshu worked at Sutherland Global Services as a Transition Manager and Deutsche Bank as a Delivery Manager – HR Shared Services. His career journey also includes leadership roles at Optimus Outsourcing and Lahari Media.com Private Limited, where he gained extensive experience in transition management, operations, and revenue generation strategies.
