Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — Anshu Mordia has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Sterlite Technologies Limited, strengthening the company’s leadership team. In this role, she will lead the organisation’s global people strategy, talent agenda, and culture transformation initiatives as STL continues to scale its global operations.
Prior to joining Sterlite Technologies Limited, Anshu served as Human Resources Director, India at FCM Travel India, where she drove key HR initiatives and organisational effectiveness across the business.
Before that, she held the role of Head HR – Logistics, Regional Office India Subcontinent at DP World, contributing to HR leadership across logistics operations and regional business strategy.
Anshu also spent close to four years at Maersk Tankers as Head of HR – India, where she played a pivotal role in building HR systems and processes, driving leadership development programs, strengthening performance management capabilities, and embedding a culture of agility and inclusion across the organisation.
Earlier in her career, she worked with FedEx Express as an HR Advisor, leading strategic transformation projects across the MEISA region, including the FedEx-TNT integration, organisational restructuring, and employee experience initiatives. She also contributed to engagement and organisational effectiveness programs during this period.
She began her HR journey with Aon Hewitt as an HR Consultant, focusing on talent and organisational consulting, and had earlier exposure at Mahindra & Mahindra in learning and organisational development roles, along with early experience at Reliance Infocomm.
Anshu Mordia holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Development from Symbiosis Centre For Management and Human Resource Development.
