Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2025 — ICICI Bank has announced that Anshuman ji has taken on the role of Zonal Head – NBFC. In this strategic leadership position, he will oversee the portfolio of leading NBFCs, spearhead business growth, and strengthen 360-degree corporate and retail banking relationships. His mandate includes driving opportunity identification and expanding high-quality NBFC and HFC partnerships for long-term scale and profitability.
Before stepping into this role, Anshuman served as Head – Retail Policy at ICICI Bank, where he led policy, digital lending, and strategy across mortgage, auto, unsecured lending, cards, rural banking, commercial business, and ecosystem offerings.
Prior to that, he held the position of Retail Credit Head – North India, where he oversaw commercial lending, underwriting, and retail credit operations across the region, ensuring governance, risk discipline, and enabling business growth.
Earlier in his journey, he worked as Zonal Credit Head – Mortgages, managing credit operations across Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. His remit included underwriting, team leadership, cost control, and credit quality oversight.
Before this role, he served as Zonal Credit Manager, managing underwriting operations, portfolio quality, and process improvement across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
His early career includes roles as Area Business Head and Branch & Area Credit Manager at ICICI Bank, covering South Indian markets including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, where he strengthened business and credit functions in mortgage operations.
Anshuman holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Financial Management Services from IBS Hyderabad.
