Hyderabad, Telangana, India, December 2024 – Anvesha Singh joins Microsoft India as Director of Talent Development for India, based at their India headquarters in Hyderabad. In this key leadership role, Anvesha will spearhead talent development initiatives, aligning with Microsoft’s mission to empower individuals and organizations to achieve more. Her extensive experience in talent management, leadership development, and organizational transformation will be instrumental in fostering a thriving talent ecosystem at Microsoft India.
Anvesha brings a wealth of experience spanning over a decade in leadership roles across esteemed organizations. Most recently, she served as Vice President – Talent Management at Vodafone Idea Limited, where she played a pivotal role in identifying top talent, managing critical roles, and building leadership pipelines. Her efforts in succession planning and leadership development significantly enhanced the organization’s talent strategy.
Prior to that, Anvesha was AGM / Talent CoE Head at Bajaj Consumer Care, where she established the Center of Excellence (CoE) for talent acquisition, management, and development. She also led initiatives in internal communication, employer branding, and diversity and inclusion, contributing to Bajaj Consumer Care’s positioning as a great workplace.
At ZEISS Group, Anvesha held the position of Senior Manager / Head of Talent for India, where she focused on building the organization’s talent framework to set benchmarks within the ZEISS Group globally. Her responsibilities included employer branding, university relations, and global talent projects, alongside talent reviews and succession planning.
Her career began at RPG Group, where she gained extensive experience in learning and development, culture transformation, and talent management. She held roles such as Head of Learning & Organization Development at Raychem RPG and Group Campus Lead, demonstrating her ability to lead large-scale engagement and capability-building initiatives.
