With nearly a decade of experience within Daimler’s various branches, Garcia brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of effective leadership and strategic management to his new position.
Armando Garcia started his career at Daimler in December 2014 as a Cost & Inventory Jr. Specialist and has demonstrated remarkable progress through several key roles within the company. Prior to his current role, he served as the Controlling Plant Buses Manager from July 2020 to May 2024, where he was instrumental in optimizing operations and enhancing productivity at the plant level. His roles have spanned from Assembly and Transfer Price Controller to Accounting Inventory Coordinator, each contributing to his deep understanding of the company’s financial and operational frameworks.
As the Head of Human Resources at Mercedes-Benz Autobuses, part of Daimler Buses Mexico, Garcia is tasked with leading the HR initiatives that support the company’s strategic objectives. His role involves driving the HR portfolio that includes talent management, diversity and inclusion, and employee wellness, aligning with the company’s mission to innovate and lead in the transportation industry.
