Kolkata, West Bengal, India, February 2025 – Arnab Basu has been named as the Chief Industries Officer at PwC India, transitioning from his previous role as Advisory Leader. With over 23 years at PwC, Arnab has played a pivotal role in driving digital strategy, business transformation, and financial performance management across multiple industries. In his new role, he will focus on demand generation in priority sectors and spearhead client outreach programs to expand PwC India’s presence in emerging markets.
Arnab has been a key figure at PwC India, most recently serving as Advisory Leader, where he led the firm’s strategy and consulting initiatives. Before this, he held leadership positions such as Technology Consulting Leader and SAP Consulting Leader, driving large-scale digital transformation, technology consulting, and enterprise applications for clients.
Earlier in his career, he played a critical role in business transformation programs using SAP, financial process analysis, and organizational change management as SAP Consulting Leader. He also held roles as Associate Director, Senior Manager, and Principal Consultant, leading complex client engagements. Arnab’s expertise in technology implementation, performance improvement, and strategic consulting has contributed to PwC India’s growth, particularly in markets like Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan.
Arnab holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Finance, Strategy, and Technology from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He also earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University.
