Huntsville, Alabama, United States, May 2026 — Monique Sturdyvin has been appointed as Chief People Officer (CPO) at Astrion, bringing over two decades of human resources leadership experience across defense, civilian, and retail sectors.
In her new role, Monique will lead the organization’s human resources strategy, focusing on building a high-performance culture, strengthening employee engagement, and supporting workforce growth aligned with Astrion’s mission to deliver advanced technology and engineering solutions.
Monique Sturdyvin takes on this leadership role after serving as HR Director – All Domain Defense & Civilian Divisions at Astrion, where she played a key role in driving HR strategy across critical business units.
Prior to joining Astrion, she worked as an HR Business Partner at SAIC, contributing to employee engagement, workforce planning, and strategic HR initiatives within a complex and high-impact environment.
Earlier, Monique spent over seven years at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where she served as a Human Resources Business Partner, building strong capabilities in talent management, organizational effectiveness, and HR strategy in the defense sector.
She also held multiple HR and leadership roles at Target, including District Human Resource Business Partner and Group Campus Recruiter, where she developed expertise in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and operational HR leadership.
