Iraq, May 2026 — Sinan Al-Hani has started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at National Bank of Iraq, bringing extensive experience in talent strategy, workforce transformation, and HR leadership within the telecom sector.
In his new role, Sinan will lead the bank’s people strategy, focusing on strengthening talent capabilities, enhancing organizational culture, and supporting the institution’s growth and transformation agenda.
Sinan Al-Hani joins National Bank of Iraq after a long and impactful tenure at Zain Iraq, where he spent over 14 years across multiple HR leadership roles.
Most recently, he served as Head of Talent Acquisition, where he led hiring strategies and talent pipelines across the organization, playing a key role in building workforce capabilities in a highly competitive market.
Prior to this, he held the position of Talent Management Team Leader, where he focused on developing internal talent, strengthening leadership pipelines, and driving employee development initiatives.
Earlier in his career at Zain Iraq, Sinan worked in Compensation & Benefits, gaining foundational experience in rewards strategy and employee value proposition design.
National Bank of Iraq is a publicly traded private sector bank established in 1995, offering comprehensive banking services to individuals and businesses across Iraq.
