Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – Ashish Chandak has joined Manappuram Finance Limited as Group–Chief Compliance Officer (Group–CCO), where he will focus on institutionalising management best practices, enhancing governance frameworks, and serving as an in-house management consultant to drive operational excellence across the organisation. His new role will be pivotal in advancing the company’s strategic transformation and building a future-ready compliance structure in alignment with stakeholder expectations.
Prior to joining Manappuram Finance, Ashish Chandak was engaged as a Consultant, Advisor, and Trainer, leveraging his three decades of experience across the BFSI sector in leadership roles involving credit risk, compliance, governance, and business development.
Ashish spent over 15 years at YES BANK, where he most recently served as Head – Fraud Risk Management and earlier as Chief Compliance Officer and Group President – Management Excellence & Governance. His impact included streamlining risk governance, driving internal consulting for process efficiency, and implementing enterprise-wide compliance systems.
Before YES BANK, he held the position of Director – Investments at ICICI Venture, and also worked at IDFC FIRST Bank in roles like Principal – Business Development and Senior Manager – Credit Risk Management, with a focus on infrastructure, strategic funding, and credit governance.
Earlier in his career, Ashish held key roles at L&T Finance and Thermax Limited, building a strong foundation in financial advisory and engineering project management.
