Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2024 – Ashu Gupta has commenced his new role as Vice President – Policy & Regulatory at CleanMax. In this position, he will be responsible for driving policy initiatives and managing regulatory affairs to support CleanMax’s mission of advancing renewable energy solutions across various sectors.
Ashu Gupta has been with CleanMax for six years. Prior to his current role, he served as the Head – Regulatory & Government Relations, where he played a crucial role in managing regulatory challenges and fostering government relations to promote the adoption of renewable energy using solar, wind, and hybrid technologies.
Before joining CleanMax, Ashu was the Chief Operating Officer at Rays Power Experts Pvt Ltd., where he oversaw operations and strategic initiatives in the renewable energy sector. His experience also includes his role as Vice President – Corporate at Ujaas Energy Limited, where he was involved in business development, legal and regulatory affairs, and brand building.
Ashu has also held senior positions in sales and marketing at Websol Energy System Limited and XL Telecom & Energy Ltd, where he was instrumental in driving business development and strategic growth. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Area Sales Manager at PRS Permacel Private Limited and as a Marketing Consultant at Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), where he developed marketing strategies and branding initiatives.
