Ballerup Municipality, Capital Region of Denmark, Denmark, March 2026 — Atea Denmark has announced the appointment of Heidi Dahl as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Senior Vice President (SVP). In her new role, Dahl will lead the people agenda for Atea Denmark, with a focus on enabling organizational growth, leadership development, and a culture where people and technology together drive execution, innovation, and sustainable business impact.
As CHRO, Dahl will support Atea Denmark’s nationwide organization of more than 1,500 specialists dedicated to building a digital Denmark. Atea Denmark is the country’s leading IT infrastructure partner and forms part of the wider Atea group across the Nordic and Baltic regions, with more than 8,000 employees across seven countries.
Before joining Atea Denmark, Dahl spent nearly 18 years with Novo Nordisk, most recently serving as Vice President, Head of People & Organisation (P&O) in Digital, Data & IT and HR Business Partner to the CDIO. In this role, she supported the transformation and expansion of Novo Nordisk’s IT organization, helping scale the function from 800 to more than 4,500 employees across 50+ countries, while building and leading a 25+ strong HRBP and project management department. Her remit also included driving organization development initiatives aligned to the DD&IT strategy and ambition, as well as a strong focus on modern culture and inclusion to support innovation and employee development.
Earlier at Novo Nordisk, Dahl held the position of SVP HR Business Partner to the CDIO in Corporate IT, where she worked on business transformation and people strategy aligned to evolving technology priorities. She previously served as Senior HR Business Partner in Novo Nordisk Quality, partnering with the Quality Assurance area supporting the Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient business. During this period, her work included organizational and cultural transformation, organization design, wellbeing focus in high-pressure environments, and the introduction of new ways of working to strengthen accountability and collaboration.
In addition to her corporate leadership experience, Dahl has also worked in organizational development and consulting roles, including assignments with Konduct and CTM organisations udvikling og coaching, supporting organizational analysis, leadership and team development, and personal development programs across public and private organizations.
