Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2025 – Atreyee Chowdhury has taken on the role of Head of HR, People Partner – India Hub at Walmart Sourcing, marking an exciting milestone in her dynamic HR leadership journey. In this role, she will focus on driving HR strategy, enabling organizational effectiveness, and elevating associate experience across Walmart Sourcing’s India operations, supporting its global supply chain functions.
Prior to this, Atreyee spent nearly six years at Walmart Global Tech India, where she held progressively senior roles. Most recently, she was Senior Manager – Associate Experience, GTL, leading a 22-member team responsible for strategic learning and development initiatives impacting over 2 million associates. Her leadership helped elevate engagement and belonging scores while launching high-impact programs like the Opportunity Knocks career site and LeanIn circles. Earlier, as Senior Manager – Design Services, Walmart Academy, she played a pivotal role in developing flagship talent and certification programs, advancing leadership development and onboarding initiatives across the enterprise.
Before her Walmart journey, Atreyee was Learning Solutions Specialist at ICF, where she designed and implemented enterprise-wide learning programs, aligned closely with business strategy. She led adoption of advanced learning technologies and built strategic vendor partnerships to enhance learning delivery and experience.
Earlier, Atreyee served as Learning Consultant at Tech Mahindra for over four years, successfully managing global training projects and launching strategic blended learning programs across geographies, including a landmark SAP training deal in the U.S. and Japan. Her performance was consistently recognized with multiple Best Performer awards.
Atreyee also held leadership roles in instructional design at organizations like Simplilearn, Accenture, and IBM, where she designed and delivered scalable training solutions, SAP ERP programs, and certification courses across industries. Her career began at Cybage Software as a Technical Writer, where she developed impactful product documentation and learning content.
