Lagos, Nigeria, September 2024 – Austin Nwachukwu has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources at Oilserv Limited, a leading Oil & Gas EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning) company. In his new role, Austin will lead HR operations and strategies to support the company’s mission of delivering world-class services to multinational and local Oil & Gas and Power companies in Nigeria and Africa.
Before joining Oilserv Limited, Austin Nwachukwu served as the Group Head of Human Resources at a Diversified Group of Companies for nearly a year. During this period, he oversaw HR functions across various sectors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving strategic HR initiatives.
Prior to this, Austin was the Head of Human Resources & Admin at MetroHealthHMO from June 2020 to July 2023. Here, he played a key role as an Executive Committee member, where he contributed to the company’s growth by implementing HR strategies that enhanced employee engagement and organizational performance.
Austin’s earlier career includes his tenure as Head of Human Resources & Admin at Kohasa Engineering Company Limited. Over three years, he led HR operations, focusing on talent management and organizational development, which were crucial to the company’s success.
