Istanbul, Türkiye, April 2025 – Ayşegül Özel Çelenk has been appointed as the new Head of Human Resources at Ovolt, one of Turkey’s fast-growing electric vehicle charging network operators. In this role, she will lead the company’s people and culture strategy, bringing a transformative HR vision aligned with Ovolt’s mission of building a sustainable, high-performance organization.
Prior to joining Ovolt, Ayşegül held the position of Head of Human Resources at Sharz.Net, contributing to the HR function in another key player in Türkiye’s e-mobility ecosystem. Her role included developing human capital frameworks and leading people strategies in alignment with innovation-driven business goals.
She also served as Head of Human Resources at Solareg, where she oversaw workforce planning and HR process development for the renewable energy company. Before that, she spent over nine years at Opet Fuchs, where she rose to become Head of Human Resources and Corporate Communications. There, she was responsible for talent acquisition, employee engagement, succession planning, and leading digital and agile transformation initiatives, while also managing brand communication and employer branding efforts.
Earlier in her career, she held pivotal HR positions at Koç Holding, where she gained strategic experience as an HR Specialist, and at Yapı Kredi, where she began her professional journey as a Private Banking Portfolio Manager following her role as a Customer Service Representative at Kocbank. These roles laid the foundation for her multidisciplinary approach to HR leadership.
