Kuwait City, Kuwait, July 2024 – Baker Alramadi has joined Kana Group on May 1st, 2024, as the new Chief People Officer. Baker will lead the global HR team, driving the people agenda across all Kana Group’s geographies.
Baker Alramadi joins Kana Group from ABYAT, where he served as Head of Human Resources & Development for approximately 2 years and 11 months. In this role, he developed and implemented HR strategies aligned with business objectives, managed talent acquisition, and designed performance management systems. He also led the development of learning programs and established employee relations initiatives.
Prior to ABYAT, Baker was with McDonald’s in Kuwait as Human Resources & Administration Director for about 2 years and 3 months. He built professional relationships, managed risk and safety, ensured compliance with laws, and developed annual business plans. Baker also led recruitment cycles, performance management, and staff development plans.
Baker also worked at Unified Real Estate Development Company in Saudi Arabia for nearly 4 years and 3 months as Director of Human Resources & Administration. He established HR strategies, aligned departmental objectives with business goals, and participated in organizational capability building. Baker monitored employee performance and managed HRD systems to enhance productivity.
His earlier experience includes various roles at McDonald’s in Saudi Arabia, where he served as Manager, People Department for about 4 years and 8 months, and as Officer, Personnel for approximately 1 year and 3 months. Baker also held positions at Beats Events Company in Jordan as Manager, Public Relations and Customer Services and Supervisor, Customer Relations.
