Elisabete has been with Vorwerk Portugal for nearly five years, where she has played a key role in shaping the company’s people function. Most recently, she served as People & Culture Coordinator, managing initiatives that enhanced employee development and supported organizational growth. Earlier, she contributed as a People Development Specialist, where she focused on employee engagement, professional growth, and strengthening the company’s HR programs.

Before joining Vorwerk, Elisabete worked at Infinera as an Employee Communication Specialist in Lisbon. In this role, she led internal communication initiatives, aligning employees with organizational goals and fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.

Her career journey also includes time at Leroy Merlin, where she was an HR Generalist. This position allowed her to gain hands-on HR experience in a dynamic retail environment.

Elisabete began her professional career at AKI Portugal as an HR Trainee, where she gained foundational exposure to HR practices and processes. This early experience helped build the foundation for her later responsibilities in employee relations, communication, and people development.

Elisabete holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Human Resource Management from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, where she completed her thesis on expatriation processes. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where she authored a paper titled “Anthropology of Cyberspace: Interpersonal Relations in the Digital Context,” which was selected for publication in the course’s technical book.
