Manchester, England, United Kingdom – October 2024 – Becca DuPont has taken on the role of Group Head of People Experience (Communications & Engagement) at JD Sports Fashion. In her new position, she will lead the strategy for internal communications, employee engagement, and culture initiatives across the organization, focusing on enhancing the overall employee experience.
Prior to joining JD Sports Fashion, Becca DuPont served as the Manager of Communications & Employee Engagement at Finish Line for over four years. She was responsible for shaping the internal voice of the brand, developing engagement strategies, and driving diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives. Becca also played a significant role in crisis communications and employee feedback programs.
Before her role at Finish Line, Becca was a Senior Media Strategist for seven months, where she managed brand activities, social media campaigns, and content partnerships to optimize brand awareness and customer retention. She also served as a Senior Corporate Communications Specialist, where she led internal communications during a major organizational merger and overhauled the company’s intranet to enhance productivity and employee engagement.
Earlier, she worked as a Corporate Communications Specialist, supporting investor relations and collaborating with the Finish Line Youth Foundation on communication initiatives. Becca has also been actively involved with the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), serving in various leadership roles, including as the 2022 Conference Chair.
Becca’s early career includes roles as a Junior Account Executive at Dittoe Public Relations, a Public Relations/Event Planning Intern at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, and a Newsroom Intern at the Times-Union.
