London, England, United Kingdom, March 2025 – Beth McGrath has been appointed as Chief People Officer at GSR. In her new role, she will lead the company’s global people strategy, focusing on talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement as GSR continues to expand its presence in the digital asset and cryptocurrency market.
McGrath has been with GSR for over three years, previously serving as Head of Human Resources. In this capacity, she played a critical role in shaping the company’s HR framework, overseeing talent acquisition, and implementing key people initiatives that supported business growth.
Before joining GSR, she worked at Balyasny Asset Management in a Human Resources role, where she contributed to HR operations and talent strategies for the firm’s global investment teams. Prior to that, she spent nearly four years at Citadel LLC as International HR Manager, overseeing HR operations across multiple regions, driving employee engagement, and managing workforce development programs.
Earlier in her career, McGrath spent over 12 years at Wells Fargo, where she held multiple HR leadership roles. She served as Employee Relations Manager for over three years, supporting teams across the EMEA region with HR compliance, workforce relations, and talent development strategies. Before that, she was HR Business Partner for nearly nine years, where she provided HR leadership and consulting services across multiple business divisions.
