With over 31 years of dedicated service at CMHA, Dye’s extensive experience and profound understanding of the organization’s mission make her an exemplary leader for this role.
Extensive Career at CMHA: Betty Dye’s career with the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority spans more than three decades, starting in January 1993 as a Section 8 Clerk. Over the years, Dye has ascended through various roles within the organization, each accompanied by increasing responsibilities—from an Administrative Assistant and Assistant Human Resources Manager to HR Manager and Director. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Human Resources from May 2020 to March 2024, where she honed her skills in strategic HR management and leadership.
In her new role, Dye oversees CMHA’s Human Resources, Wellness, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and Resident Initiatives. She is focused on nurturing talent, enhancing workplace culture, and ensuring that all organizational initiatives align with CMHA’s strategic goals. Dye’s leadership is pivotal in empowering CMHA’s employees through professional development and comprehensive wellness programs, thereby strengthening the organization’s ability to serve the community effectively.
