Bhupendra Singh has been associated with Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited for more than four years, steadily progressing through senior international leadership roles. He joined the company as Vice President – Africa & Middle East Cluster, where he led a US$30 million business with a team of approximately 120 professionals across multiple international markets. Building on this success, he was elevated to Senior Vice President – North Africa, Middle East and ASEAN Cluster, before assuming his current role as President – MENA and ASEAN Cluster, reflecting the company’s confidence in his ability to lead one of its most strategically important international businesses.

Prior to joining BSV, Bhupendra served as Assistant Vice President at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he led international operations across Africa, managing a team of approximately 150 employees, including country managers and subsidiary operations, while strengthening the company’s presence across multiple African markets.

Earlier, he was Business Head – Africa at Neopharma, leading the company’s commercial expansion and business development initiatives across the African continent.

His international leadership journey also includes serving as Regional Head – Francophone West and Central Africa at Sun Pharma, where he was responsible for driving regional commercial growth across French-speaking African markets.

Bhupendra previously held two Managing Director assignments within the Ranbaxy Group, first as Managing Director, Ranbaxy Nigeria Limited, where he led a cross-functional organization of approximately 230 employees spanning sales, marketing, manufacturing, and finance, and later as Managing Director, Ranbaxy Unichem Thailand, overseeing business operations, commercial performance, and organizational leadership for the company’s Thailand subsidiary.

Before these leadership roles, he spent more than 12 years with Ranbaxy, progressing through several international commercial assignments, including General Manager – French West Africa & North Africa, Area Manager – Francophone West Africa, and Area Manager – Central Africa, where he built deep expertise in international business development, market expansion, distributor management, and P&L leadership across Africa.

He began his international pharmaceutical career as Export Manager at Core Healthcare Ltd., followed by an early marketing and international business role as Manager – International Division at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited, laying the foundation for a distinguished career spanning more than three decades in global pharmaceutical leadership.

Bhupendra’s promotion reflects his extensive expertise in international business, commercial strategy, market expansion, P&L management, and cross-cultural leadership across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. His leadership will play a pivotal role as Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited continues strengthening its global footprint across high-growth international markets.
