Cambridge, England, United Kingdom – AstraZeneca is proud to announce the promotion of Bianca C. to Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition and International Experiences (Mobility), effective October 2023. Bianca C. has been a pivotal part of AstraZeneca for over 12 years, contributing significantly to its HR strategies.
Bianca C.’s Ascension at AstraZeneca:
Before her current role, Bianca served as the Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition from September 2022, following her impactful contributions as Director of Talent Acquisition. Her efforts in employer branding, digital and social communications, and onboarding have been critical in positioning AstraZeneca as an employer of choice in the pharmaceutical industry.
Starting her journey in June 2011 as a Global Executive Resourcing Partner, she focused on supporting executive resourcing across Western Europe and CEEMEA regions. She then transitioned to lead the Global Strategic Partnerships in resourcing, ensuring AstraZeneca maintained a robust portfolio of strategic vendor solutions. She had held multiple impactful positions in AstraZeneca.
As the Resourcing Transition Lead from May 2012, Bianca managed major HR operating model changes and led a team to assess outsourcing feasibility. Her role evolved into Global Head of Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing from September 2014, where she was instrumental in defining the company’s EVP and enhancing its employer brand.
Previously, Bianca was the Director of Talent Acquisition focusing on employer brand and talent scouting from October 2021 to August 2022. Her strategic input during this period helped solidify AstraZeneca’s position as an attractive employer in the competitive pharmaceutical industry. From April 2017 to October 2021, she was the Talent Acquisition Director overseeing employer brand, digital and social communications, and onboarding.
Previous Experience:
Prior to AstraZeneca, Bianca was engaged with the Co-operative Group as a Group Recruitment Manager from March 2009 to May 2011, where she managed a substantial in-house recruitment team and provided strategic input to enhance recruitment services across the company’s diverse businesses.
Before her tenure at the Co-operative Group, Bianca was involved in client services management for Ericsson through Alexander Mann Solutions from November 2006 to March 2009, managing resourcing delivery and service for key business areas.
