London, England, United Kingdom, March 2025 – Blaine Sinclair has taken on the role of Global Head of Talent Acquisition | Market Intelligence – EDO – S&P DJI at S&P Global, bringing his deep experience in strategic hiring and talent leadership to a global mandate. In this new position, Blaine will lead the worldwide talent acquisition function across the Market Intelligence division and related entities, driving hiring excellence, workforce planning, and innovative recruitment solutions aligned with S&P Global’s mission to power global markets.
Prior to this elevation, Blaine served for three years as Head of Talent Acquisition, EMEA at S&P Global, where he helped shape a strong regional talent strategy, introduced scalable hiring frameworks, and led recruitment initiatives that supported growth and digital transformation. His focus on operational excellence and market insight positioned him as a key people leader within the organization.

Before joining S&P Global, Blaine was with IHS Markit for nearly four years, where he held several progressive roles including Associate Director – Recruitment Team Lead (EMEA), Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, and Global Talent Partner for EMEA & APAC. His time at IHS Markit was marked by regional talent scaling, DEI-led hiring programs, and successful leadership placements across global hubs.
Earlier, he worked at Ipreo (acquired by IHS Markit) as Lead Analyst – Global Talent Partner (EMEA & APAC). At Ipreo, he collaborated across business lines in financial technology and data services to streamline talent strategies and improve hiring effectiveness across capital markets and asset management segments.
