New York, United States, January 2025 – Brenda Sand has been appointed as the Vice President of Human Resources at Concord, bringing extensive expertise in HR leadership, talent management, and employee relations. In this new capacity, Sand will focus on strategic HR initiatives, supporting Concord’s diverse talent base while driving organizational excellence across the company’s global operations.
Prior to this role, Brenda Sand served as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Concord, where she played a pivotal role in HR strategy and workforce planning for nearly three years. Her contributions included enhancing employee engagement and development programs across the organization.

Before joining Concord, Sand spent approximately seven years at The Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY) as Director HRBP & Employee Relations Manager, where she managed employee relations, compensation strategies, and organizational change. Earlier at VNSNY, she held the position of Compensation Manager, overseeing the development of competitive pay structures and union negotiations.
Sand’s earlier career includes nearly a decade at TIAA-CREF, where she held roles of increasing responsibility, culminating as Senior Compensation Consultant. She led the corporate-wide compensation review cycle and was instrumental in implementing HRIS systems and performance management frameworks.
