Reflections on 2024:
Building Trust
Life threw some real tests my way this year when it came to trust. Nothing shows you what relationships are made of quite like tough times. Each day brought little moments that shaped my understanding – sometimes you give trust, sometimes you earn it. The real stuff? It grows bit by bit, through showing up and keeping it real.
Growing Respect
Walking through 2024 taught me that respect works both ways. It starts with how you treat yourself, then flows out to others. When you choose respect, even during disagreements, something special happens. People open up. You see beneath the surface, past just being polite, to really getting where others come from.
Learning Patience
This year slowed me down – in a good way. While everyone’s rushing around, I discovered that some things just need time. Projects, relationships, personal growth – they unfold at their own pace. Racing through just means missing the good stuff. Patience isn’t just waiting – it’s seeing what each moment teaches you.
Watching and Learning
Stepping back changed everything. Instead of jumping in, I started really watching. You start seeing the real intentions of people, spotting patterns, catching opportunities others miss. Total game-changer for figuring out the real situations and friends.
Staying on Track
Finding focus was my biggest battle this year. With everything fighting for attention, I learned something key – it’s not about doing more, it’s about doing what matters. Sometimes saying no to decent chances means making room for the great ones.
“Life tests relationships like nothing else. Trust grows bit by bit, through showing up and keeping it real.”

Resolutions for 2025:
Continuous Learning Journey
Moving into 2025, I’ll be diving deep into new knowledge and skills that spark both personal growth and career advancement. Each month brings a fresh book to explore different worlds and ideas, while industry events will keep me sharp in my field. The tough moments and mistakes? They’re going to be my teachers too – I’ve got a notebook ready to capture those lessons. What excites me most is passing on what I learn, whether through grabbing coffee with someone starting out or jumping into group discussions with other curious minds.
Making a Positive Difference
Next year’s all about leaving things better than I found them. I want to be that person who helps others navigate their career paths, drops wisdom at workshops, and rolls up their sleeves for community work. There’s something special about creating stuff that helps people learn or gets them fired up about possibilities. When we connect and lift each other up, real change happens.
Stay Healthy
My energy tank needs to stay full to chase these dreams, so health comes first in 2025. I’m mapping out workout routines for my triathlon, Ironman, aquathlon, and duathlon races, and my bedroom’s becoming a sleep sanctuary with regular hours. Food’s going to be fuel, not just filler—thinking before eating and keeping it balanced. Some quiet time with deep breaths or whatever calms the mind will be part of each day, along with keeping that water bottle close and the snack drawer stocked with the good stuff.
Dream Big
This year, I’m letting my imagination run wild. The goals I’m setting might raise some eyebrows, but that’s exactly the point. I’m sketching out these dreams in vivid detail and plotting the steps to make them real. Old limits? They’re just old stories now. Sure, there’ll be some bold moves to make, but they’ll be smart ones that point toward where I want to be. Every small win gets its moment of celebration, but my eyes stay fixed on those bigger prizes.
Surround Yourself with Good People
The people around us shape who we become, so 2025 is about finding those who’ve walked paths I admire and learning from their footsteps. I’m seeking out the kind of friendships that push me to grow while having my back. It’s time to build a circle that believes in going far together, while gently stepping back from relationships that dim the light. Giving back becomes part of the journey—helping others reach their stars creates a constellation of success we can all share in.
“Dream big, embrace bold moves, and build a circle that believes in going far together.”
