Carlo Roble Appointed as Director – People, Culture & Human Resources at Ascendion

Makati, National Capital Region, Philippines, September 2025 – Ascendion has appointed Carlo Roble as Director – People, Culture & Human Resources. In this role, Roble will lead people strategy, culture-building initiatives, and HR operations, ensuring alignment with Ascendion’s mission of driving innovation through AI-powered engineering solutions. His focus will be on enhancing workforce engagement, talent development, and organizational growth across the Philippines and APAC region.

Roble most recently served as Country Human Resources Head – Philippines at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where he oversaw HR operations for over 5,500 employees across multiple Global Delivery Centers. His responsibilities spanned talent acquisition, workforce management, compliance, total rewards, employee engagement, and CSR initiatives, supporting clients across North America, Europe, the UK, and Asia Pacific.

Before TCS, Roble spent more than seven years with PCCW Solutions Limited, where he held multiple leadership roles including Regional Talent Acquisition Head across Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia, and Human Resources Head – Philippines. He played a pioneering role in establishing PCCW’s Philippines Offshore Delivery Center, driving HR strategies, employer branding, and organizational development, while also overseeing administration, procurement, and corporate services.

Earlier in his career, he served as Head of Talent Management at FWD Insurance, where he aligned HR strategy with business growth, and as Strategic Staffing & Employee Relations Director at AXA Philippines, leading recruitment and employee relations initiatives. His journey also includes HR leadership roles at Accenture Inc., Monroe Consulting Group, and ManpowerGroup, where he developed deep expertise in talent management, workforce planning, and operational leadership.
