Scottsdale, Arizona, United States, July 2025 — Carol Meichner-Smith has stepped into the role of Vice President Human Resources at Troon, bringing with her over two decades of progressive HR leadership across global organizations. In this new role, Carol will spearhead people strategies across the enterprise, focusing on talent development, cultural transformation, and organizational effectiveness to support Troon’s world-class guest and member experience.
Carol most recently served as Human Resources Director at InEight, where she played a pivotal role in shaping global HR initiatives and leading strategic programs in M&A integration, compensation and benefits, talent strategy, and cultural change management. Prior to that, she was HR Business Partner at the same organization, supporting executive leadership with HR strategy and workforce planning.
Earlier in her career, Carol held key HR leadership positions at APL Logistics, APL, and Apriva, where she was instrumental in driving initiatives around compliance, change management, employee engagement, and global workforce planning. Her early career included impactful roles at Honeywell, where she advanced from HR Process Specialist to HR Manager, managing HR operations and supporting business transformation.
Carol’s professional journey began with administrative and executive support roles at Fluke Networks and RSC Equipment Rental, laying a strong foundation in corporate operations and stakeholder engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Psychology from Bryant University.
