Corning, New York, United States – November 2024 – Charlie Commisso has recently joined Corelle Brands as their new Human Resources Director. In this key role, Commisso will lead HR operations, guiding senior leadership on HR matters, negotiating collective agreements, and implementing talent acquisition, employment processing, and compensation strategies. His focus on establishing robust organizational strategies will help Corelle Brands enhance its workforce effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
Prior to joining Corelle Brands, Charlie Commisso served as Vice President of Human Resources at Niacet, A Kerry Company for five years, where he was integral in scaling HR functions and growing the company’s value significantly before its acquisition by Kerry Foods. At Kerry, Commisso facilitated the integration of Niacet’s global workforce, aligning them with Kerry’s objectives and culture.
Before his tenure at Niacet, Commisso held the role of Global Human Resources Business Partner at Cristal-Tronox, overseeing human capital management across regions such as the Americas, Middle East, Africa, and Europe. In this capacity, he led strategic human resources initiatives, including talent management, employee engagement, and M&A activities, managing collective bargaining agreements on a global scale.
Earlier, Commisso was the Global Human Resources Leader at Actuant Corporation (now Enerpac Tool Group), responsible for HR operations across 11 international locations. His efforts in strategic planning, union negotiations, and operational excellence significantly contributed to Actuant’s financial performance and growth.
He also worked as a Human Resources Consultant with Actuant, providing HR leadership during key organizational transitions. Additionally, his experience includes HR management roles at Ingersoll Rand and Harley-Davidson, where he managed large-scale HR functions, implementing successful training and development programs that bolstered employee engagement.
